How was January. COLD, VERY COLD!!
Wow what did January bring to all of us. The snow is finally melting and hopefully, February will treat us with more sunshine and warmer weather. As I was watching the Farmers Insurance Open this past weekend, the USGA had a quick commercial on golf course etiquette and maintenance. Some believe we as golfers, members of maintenance crews and clubs are doing a better job in addressing the issues of: raking traps, fixing ball marks, following traffic control signage and replacing divots, while others disagree.
As February moves along, March will be our true test. Some of us will visit the Hamlet or even travel south for a final get away. Please remember all the etiquette of maintaining the course to better every players experience on that given day.
Please call Vic or Lou regarding this weekends course conditions.
Have a great week

Weekend Golfing with Warm Weather
The past few days has brought extremely cold weather and large amounts of snow. The good news is our long range weather forecast. We plan on opening the course, weather depending, on Friday, January 10th. Please contact Lou or Vic for daily start times and course conditions.
I wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope to see all of you out enjoying the links
